**Job Summary**:
Provide general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, managing garbage, recycling and compost, and maintaining washroom and kitchen supplies.
**Your Role**:
**Archway’s Janitor with Facilities contributes by**:
- Cleaning tables, toilets, sink basins, walls, windows, doors and performing vacuuming and mopping.
- Managing all aspects of recycling, garbage, and compost, including picking up exterior garbage, and sweeping exterior areas.
- Conducting spot washes, vacuuming, and cleaning carpets.
- Setting up and taking down equipment in rooms as required.
- Supplying all soap and other dispensers.
**Our Offer**:

- A permanent, casual/on-call position, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

**Getting an Interview-you will be considered if you have**:
- WHMIS certificate or willingness to obtain.
- At least one year experience working as a janitor.
**The Job Requires you to have**:
- Good verbal, written, and active listening skills; able to communicate clearly and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and varying levels of English.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to address concerns and suggestions respectfully.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions safely, and work with potentially hazardous cleaning products while adhering to health and safety procedures
- Ability to work evenings, as required.
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs and engage in constant physical activity.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
