Job Title: Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at Top Ten Cleaning Ltd. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as emptying trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Work Environment:

As a Janitor, you will work in a variety of locations, including offices, schools, and other facilities. You will be exposed to all weather conditions and may be required to work in confined spaces.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Good physical health and stamina.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and judgement.
