**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates activities for day-to-day operations for business needs and youth training
- Develops menus and associated costing, develops menu rotations
- Responsible for food cost, inventory, tracks for adherence to food budgets
- Orders, tracks raw goods
- Coordinates food safety and cleanliness program
- Responsible for food production and adherence to contract performance

**Qualifications**:

- 3 - 5 years related work experience
- Recommended Education: Red Seal/ Culinary Management Diploma or Equivalent
- Assets:Safe Food Handling Certification

First Aid
HACCP Training
- Demonstrated ability to engage, coach, mentor and support youth participants and staff
- Demonstrated abilities to administrative tasks such as ordering, inventory, record keeping etc.
- Demonstrated compliance with all governmental and regulatory requirements ensuring safe food handling practices, Knowledge of standards for cleanliness and hygiene in the various kitchen areas
- Experience with supervising the production and plating/packaging of food production,
- Demonstrated professional work habits, encourage staff to act with integrity and recognize this trait in others and reward them appropriately.
- Experience with assigning work and side duties to staff in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Strong communication, Experience conducting shift & staff meetings
- Experience with menus: creating, developing; recommending recipes, costing of recipes

**Salary**: $24.28-$26.77 per hour
