**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, the Analyst, Workforce Planning is responsible for supporting data collection, tracking, analysis and scenario modelling for workforce analytics at the College. This is accomplished through a focus on developing clear data definitions and ensuring high quality workforce planning analytics. The analyst will develop and support adoption of workforce planning processes, tools/templates, and create detailed reports and models to forecast resourcing requirements for the College.

The Analyst, Workforce Planning, will monitor workforce usage and workload trends, providing analytical support for labour data and recommend business process improvements. The incumbent will collaborate with the Administrator of Position Control to understand the operational complement forecast for full-time and other-than-full-time positions, as well as administer the development and deployment of a future based multi-year workforce plan for the College.

The incumbent audits the accuracy and integrity of workforce planning data and produces comprehensive future based multi-year workforce planning reports and statistics for College Management to facilitate good decision making and drive the achievement of key business results linked to strategic workforce planning objectives.

The incumbent will be responsible for the gathering and disseminating of complex data to develop and produce a variety of both internal and external reports and metrics related to the College workforce. This also involves the management of workforce planning dashboards to provide relevant and strategic data to various stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Four (4) Year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Adminstration, Finance, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Management, Statistics or related;- Five (5) years of progressive relevant experience with workforce planning, preferably in a unionized environment;- At least three (3) years of experience in the analysis, consolidation and interpretation of complex and diverse data sets;- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize, assess, and communicate information effectively;- Experience and proven success with developing and implementing process improvements in support of strategic initiatives;- Demonstrated project management experience;- Liaison experience working with senior management;- Experience in partnering with business leaders to create a strategic plan that enable business transformation;- Knowledge in business process mapping and process improvement;- Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients, partnering with them to set direction and priorities for the business.
