**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Manager, IT Risk, Physical Security and Compliance, the Compliance and Physical Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the security and compliance throughout eStruxture enterprise, ensuring consistent and effective practices, policies and procedures, while providing guidance, direction and development of compliance and security related initiatives. The incumbent of this position must be a motivated self-starter who is compliance-obsessed and results-oriented, possessing the skills and flexibility necessary to build solid relationships with internal customers and operational counterparts.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**Maintain security and compliance posture at eStruxture (20%)**
- Administration of Compliance including quarterly control review attestations, producing reports from the SwordGRC system for the development of Compliance Reports, conducting training for users, responding to inquiries, and liaising with Internal Auditors.
- Remaining informed of organizational strategies, initiatives and policies and communicating compliance guidelines, best practices, or procedural changes to impacted parties with a focus on compliance legislation. Ensure monitoring oversight of compliance and security within eStruxture locations

**Documentation 15%**
- Develop, analyze, document, and validate compliance requirements and/or specifications for new initiatives, processes, or enhancements/upgrades to existing systems to support core compliance and security requirements.
- Support the development and delivery compliance documentation (customer inquiries, RFIs, business requirements (compliance, security, functional, and non-functional), business process issues and risks (ensuring that necessary certification and audit controls are addressed). Investigate and recommend solutions using sound business judgment.

**Audits 40%**
- Accountable for managing the evidence, meetings, and walkthroughs of the SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001 annual audits.
- Deliver business assurance review, monitoring and testing activity for compliance requirements.
- Support Internal and External Auditors (as required)
- Support the Controlled Goods Program, and Canada Contract Security Program
- Support the timely remediation of Audit findings.

**Security 25%**
- Support and collaborate with Physical Security Manager on security related incidents
- Coordinate the documentation, recommendations, and implementation of corrective security measures.

**Qualifications & experiences**
- An intermediate level, along with demonstrated extensive experience at team lead level in a similar environment, or a strong background in compliance, or related fields.
- A minimum 5-year related compliance/datacenter/information security/operations experience.
- Specialized knowledge and experience in the operational aspects of compliance, and information security management controls and implementation of policies relating to these areas.

**Education/Certification/Designation**
- College or University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent

**Competencies**
- Previous experience in compliance, security, privacy, or regulatory frameworks.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with analyst functions (including practical testing, requirements gathering, documenting business requirements, and facilitation/presentation experience).
- A solid track record of developing, coordinating and leading initiatives that cross several functional areas and building strong working relationships across the group of companies.
- Demonstrated experience managing the security response to large and complex emergency incidents involving emergency services and senior management.

**Technical Skills/Knowledge**
- Proficiency and expertise in the area of audit focus to ensure certifications are achieved to meet client needs and expectations.
- Extensive compliance management experience including governance.
- Proficiency in French/English
