Network & Computer Technician

We are currently hiring for the Network & Computer Systems Support Technician position.

This position's duties include (but are not limited to) supporting, servicing, repairing and installing technology (wifi, routers, computers, servers, layer 2 and 3 switches and software) for ISSERVICE Technology and its customers, both at our office location and at the customers’ site, as well as internal administration (documentation). You will primarily working on Tier 2 support for our customers, however you may be called upon to assist other technicians with other needs and projects where deemed necessary by management. This position includes being involved in the planning, implementation and support of our clients' computer, server and network device infrastructure.

Providing effective fast and well communicated support to our clients is the main focus of all positions. This is an experienced role with the expectation that once being successfully integrated into our team, other team members will leverage your experience and knowledge to help them, and likewise you will leverage the pool of knowledge from our other technicians to assist you with your tasks.

Qualifications:

- College Diploma or University degree in Computer Systems Technology
- 3+ Years Experience preferred in supporting business networks.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
- Patching and termination of CAT 6/7 Network Cables
- Submittal of time for all work performed throughout the day. All time must be accounted for.
- Knowledge of Microsoft o365 products and management
- Knowledge of VMWARE and Hyper-V Virtualization environments
- Windows Server & Active Directory setup & configuration as well as troubleshooting
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Good documentation skills
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Personable, good communication
- Works well in a team environment
- Willing to work flexible hours when needed
- Participate and engage in company and assigned team meetings.
- Valid Ontario Driver's license and clean driving record
- On-Call ability

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
