**Salary**: $2,626.89 to $3,448.73 bi-weekly ($68,561 - $90,011/year)

**Financial Services Division**:

- This division supports the achievement of ministry outcomes, and the continued delivery of corporate services to clients and stakeholders. The Assistant Deputy Minister of Financial Services and Senior Financial Officer role is shared with Alberta Forestry Parks and Tourism.

**Facilities & Fleet Services Unit - **Staff manage core ministry services for departmental divisions including program accommodations, space change requirements and renovations, lease agreements, fleet procurement, driver safety, ministry parking requirements, and capital improvements.
Staff work daily with cross ministry staff in Alberta Infrastructure, Service Alberta Red Tape Reduction and Technology and Innovation.

**Role Responsibilities**:
We are seeking **two (2)** Program Accommodations Planners to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of ministry accommodation projects, facility upgrades, and emergency responses. This role will involve assisting in scope planning, lease management, building maintenance support, and ensuring the alignment of facility project priorities with department strategic business plan goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing and implementing short and long-term facility management plans.
- Document and communicate accommodation processes and responsibilities for management and staff.
- Aid in the planning and organization of facility accommodation and capital budgets.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors to ensure safe and efficient facility maintenance and operations.
- Manage and coordinate project planning and management for building upgrades, office re-stacking, and staff moves.
- Draft department facility-related policies and procedures to align with government standards and directives.
- Provide cover-off for the team lead as required.
- Collaborates with department personnel, executive management, agencies, boards, commissions, Alberta Infrastructure, Technology and Innovation, and non-government users.

**Qualifications**:

- **University graduation** in Commerce, Business Administration, Interior Design or related field
- **plus two (2) years progressively responsible related experience**; or equivalent as described below.

**Equivalencies **maybe considered - directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education

**Additional Requirements**:

- Experience with program and project management.
- Experience leading complex projects and engagements or change management initiatives.

**Assets**:

- Knowledge and understanding of Project Management.
- Experience with Adobe Pro.
