**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy, the Digital Strategies Coordinator will support the development, implementation and evaluation of current and future digital technology strategies for the College of Nursing, with a focus on teaching and learning technology, extended reality (XR), computerized testing and eLearning authoring. The Digital Strategies Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Director Digital Strategies, faculty, staff, students, IT department, The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, Rady Health Sciences Faculty IT Manager, and other stakeholders.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- An undergraduate degree in computer science, information science, education, or technical college diploma required.
- Minimum three (3) years of directly related experience required.
- Knowledge of information technology principles, concepts, methods, tools, and security principles; internet technologies; and emerging information technologies.
- Experience providing support and guidance in the use of XR technology.
- Familiarity with MetaQuest 2 hardware and software.
- Experience analyzing needs, identifying, and proposing preferred options, and facilitating the acquisition and integration of solutions.
- Experience working at the University of Manitoba with an understanding of policy and procedures with respect to IT is an asset.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge and experience using communication and collaboration platforms, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy required.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines required.
- Proven ability to learn new skills and abilities very quickly required.
- Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative and multitask required.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team environment required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
