A typical day for the Procurement Specialist
- Sourcing and procurement of goods and services to support day-to-day operations.
- Development and administration of requests for proposals, contract administration, and maintaining associated reporting.
- Administering the tendering process, developing requests for proposal documents, and providing consultation to contract managers and key stakeholders.
- Resource contract preparation, amendment letters, mailing to vendors for signature; creation of contract file, filing and tracking all related and supporting documentation.
- Monitoring key dates of contracts, ensuring that appropriate contract milestones are met, including verification and reconciliation of applicable invoices.
- Providing all procurement records of procured assets, software, and licenses for maintained corporate configuration management database recording.

What you bring
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, category management, and procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Knowledge of contracting legislation, guidelines, limits, and trade agreements and associated compliant purchasing practices (i.e., Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), Canada Free Trade Agreement, New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), Trade, Investment and Labor Mobility Agreement (TILMA).
- Professional designation such as SCMP is considered an asset.
- Completion of ITIL certifications is considered an asset.
