**Job Summary**:
Foundry is a provincial initiative that integrates services for youth 12-24 years old in primary care, social services, mental health, substance use and peer support. The Foundry Service Navigator is the initial contact youth have with Foundry and provides guidance and support for accessing the appropriate Foundry or partner service. The Foundry Service Navigator also provides support to the Volunteer Coordinator, volunteers, coordination of community events, and oversees the Foundry satellite food bank, ensuring it is stocked and staffed with volunteers.

**Your Role**:
Archway’s Foundry Service Navigator with the Foundry contributes by:

- Welcoming new youth to the Foundry and connecting them to service providers, partners or peer support.
- Connecting with clients via telephone or in-person to establish positive relationships and discuss service options available, providing resources and support, and answering questions.
- Scheduling clients with Foundry counsellors.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of community resources within and outside of Foundry Abbotsford.

**Our Offer**
- $24 to $26 dollars per hour.
- A part-time position at 25 hours per week, 4 days per week, availability (i.e. 2:00 - 7:00 p.m.).

**Getting an Interview - you will be considered if you have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Child & Youth Care, Psychology, Social Work or a related field, OR a combination of equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Experience working with youth, including youth with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Experience working in a social services program delivery role.
- Strong computer and social media competency. The position requires use of Microsoft Office 365, virtual meeting platforms and social media platforms.

**The Job Requires you to have**:

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and use of a personal vehicle in good working order.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
- Strong relationship building skills; able to build rapport and work with youth and volunteers.
- Strong crisis management skills and able to work effectively during crises.
- Good networking skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and with other program staff, relevant service providers and community members.
- Strong knowledge of government and community-based programs and related provincial and community support systems.
- Empathy, compassion and flexibility in your daily work providing non-judgemental service to youth.
- Flexible work hours including into the evening are required.
