Summary

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cash Management**:

- Prepare cash flow forecasts by collecting and organizing data on expected inflows and outflows from different departments. Collaborate with these departments to streamline forecasts using real-time data and assumptions.
- Monitor bank balances daily; manage bank activities and transactions to ensure sufficient levels exist to support business requirements.
- Effectively participate in team meetings and other company-wide initiatives related to cash management.

**Banking and Compliance**:

- Maintain supplier database and banking information to ensure supplier information is verified, input, and approved. Follow the vendor authorization process to safeguard the integrity of the data.
- Responsible for bank account administration, amendments, and signatory updates as well as for the administration of users in various banking portals and system.
- Monitor and report on credit facility restrictions.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating the submission of all bank reporting including covenant reporting.
- Communicate with bank on various matters.

**Financing**:

- Provide ad hoc support with financing agreements and documentation.

**Financial Reporting**:

- Produce and maintain financial reports used by CMI leadership.
- Assist FP&A team to collect data for internal and external reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Assist with budget and planning process.

**Other duties**:

- Ad hoc activities, as required.

Safety
- All tasks must be completed safely in compliance with regulatory and legislative guidelines and company health and safety policies and procedures.

Continuous Improvement
- To constantly challenge the current methods and techniques in a controlled manner that will provide a superior, more efficient, and improved result.

Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Management Accounting, or Financial Accounting with CPA, CFA, or CTP designation in process.
- 2-3 years related experience.
- Advanced Excel skills. SQL or similar experience is an asset.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hedging instruments is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners as needed.
- Comfort working in a fluid and often ambiguous environment; capable of adjusting in both day-to-day and large-scale activities based on new information and developments.
