**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Facilities and IT Coordinator will support smooth operations across sites by supporting physical moves and set-ups (computer and IT equipment, other equipment, furniture, supplies, etc). This role will support staff across sites to deal with basic internet and technology issues, in person or by phone/online as necessary. This role will work with the Operations Team to trouble-shoot physical plant issues, health and safety concerns, keys and access issues, and all areas where efficiency and functionality need improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise between employees and the IT team to coordinate equipment moves, set-ups, resolve basic issues, and provide basic IT support on-site
- Support IT and other inventory tracking (computers, phones, printers, fax, postage meter, sound equipment, etc.)
- Support physical labour requirements (moves, set-ups, repairs, etc.) within and across all departments/sites
- Trouble-shoot physical plant issues, heath and safety concerns, and site emergencies
- Coordinate, track and trouble-shoot key and access systems across sites
- Coordinate Fire Safety systems components across sites as directed by the Operations Manager
- Coordinate maintenance and repair appointments across sites as directed by the Operations Manager
- Support employee training and compliance with Fire Systems, Access Systems and Site Use requirements, including supporting safe opening, closing and operating procedures for employees, partners and other user groups
- Liaise between employees and the Operations manager about service and repair needs across sites
- Provide training for staff and others regarding organizational equipment (phone systems, security systems, sound systems, air conditioners, air purifiers, etc.)
- Troubleshoot technical issues with office equipment, phone systems and other technical machines/equipment before having a technician scheduled
- Other duties as assigned to support a safe and well-functioning workplace

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptionally tech-savvy with demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot routine issues with computers, phones (apple, android, VOIP), routers/modems, printers, alarm/camera/security systems, sound systems and other technical systems.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent set of skills/experiences
- Highly trustworthy, demonstrated ability to handle sensitive access information responsibly
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems
- detail-oriented, thorough, logical, patient, and resourceful
- Excellent ability to teach basic processes to others, motivated to be helpful, share skills and build knowledge to increase organizational effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication skills - both written (especially for sharing clear written instructions, signage, etc.) and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Able to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. when required, and interested in a dynamic mix of physical and administrative work

**Compensation and Hours of Work**:

- $44,000 per year
- 35 hrs/week, Mon-Fri
