**About the role**

The front desk agent main responsibilities are closely associated with the guest’s stay. You will be the first point of contact when customers arrive and the last one, they interact with, when leaving the hotel.

Being available and flexible, having a strong work ethic and being a team player are crucial qualities for a receptionist. The position requires working mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. The organization of work may vary depending on the occupancy rate of the hotel and the tourist season.

**Your responsibilities**
- Greet customers on their arrival, verify reservation data and offer additional services.
- Provide the client with useful information about the establishment.
- Respond to customer requests (wake-up call, room change, etc.)
- Check daily records, customer accounts, cash statements and supporting documents following the brand standards.
- Check client satisfaction when leaving.
- Finalize the note, have the accommodation costs approved, collect the payment and give a copy of the transaction to the client.
- Maintain client confidentiality, preserving the security of events, and ensuring their safety.
- Communicate to the various departments of the establishment the needs associated with reservations and customer requests.
- All other tasks related to the position.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in hospitality management DEP or DEC
- Experience in hotel reception or customer service position for at least one year
- Knowledge of hotel management software and computer skills, an asset

**Key attributes**
- French and English spoken and written. Fluency in other languages, an asset
- Available to work morning, evening, weekends and holidays
- Being autonomous, dynamic and motivated
- Ability to conduct monetary transactions
- Always display a professional demeanor and conduct in all situations.
- Stress tolerance
- Being well-organized and paying close attention to small details

**Salary**: $20.75-$22.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
