The Home2 Suites by Hilton Montréal near the Montréal airport is seeking a qualified Front Desk Agent to join its team. We’re looking for an ambitious, hardworking professional with attention to detail who has a passion for hospitality. The ideal applicant should be capable of working autonomously with no one to assist him or her with basic functions, such as checking guests in and out, communicating with housekeeping and taking initiative for necessary tasks. A flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when necessary are essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
- Perform all guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Accommodate guest requests
- Resolve customer complaints and problems calmly and effectively
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
- Balance cash drawer

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills
- Task-driven individual
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Diploma in Hospitality or related courses an asset
- Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal essential
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Responsabilités:

- Accueillir les invités avec un sourire accueillant et une attitude amicale
- Effectuer toutes les procédures d'enregistrement et de départ des clients
- Répondre aux demandes des clients
- Résoudre les plaintes et les problèmes des clients calmement et efficacement
- Travaille en étroite collaboration avec le service d'entretien ménager pour tenir à jour les rapports d'état des chambres et coordonne les demandes de travaux d'entretien et de réparation.
- Maintenir une réception propre et ordonnée
- Compter et maintenanir un tiroir-caisse

EXIGENCES
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement multitâche avec plusieurs rythme de travail
- Solides compétences démontrées en service à la clientèle
- Individu axé sur les tâches
- Expérience antérieure en hôtellerie préférée
- Diplôme en hôtellerie ou cours connexes un atout
- Solides compétences en communication en anglais et en français, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral essentielles
- Capacité à travailler tous les quarts de travail, y compris les week-ends, les soirs et les jours fériés

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
