**Surgical Day Care**
Reporting to the Manager ‑ Perioperative Services, with a matrix to the Manager ‑ Surgical Services & Endoscopy,
the successful applicant will work as Cerk III for Surgical Day Care, and Endoscopy.
Qualifications:
- Secondary school diploma with a certificate in Secretarial Arts/Office Administration or equivalent experience (1
year minimum)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience (during past 5 years) in an Perioperative setting
Word, Excel, GroupWise)
- Demonstrated superior knowledge with Imaging and Therapeutic Services Meditech Application (ITS) and Order
Entry
- Demonstrated superior knowledge generating technical reports from multiple data sources
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and standard abbreviations particularly in the Perioperative field
- Superior interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, keyboard, telephone)
- Radiates a positive attitude and collaborative approach to interprofessional colleagues
- Highly motivated & organized individual with the ability to prioritize activities independently
- Excellent problem solving ability related to technical systems and potential process flow improvements
Salary Range: $24.126 to 24.699
