**As a professor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the excellence of your School of**
**kinesiology and physical activity sciences**

through your teaching and your research activities. You will also ensure the visibility of your discipline in addition
to actively participate in the operation of a renowned institution. As such, you will:

- ** **Pursue successful research programs, have a strong publication record in the study of the musculoskeletal
system in symptomatic or athletic populations. The research program of the successful applicant is expected
to complement the work of other professors within the School;
- ** **Have a clinical or applied research profile;
>** **Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise Ph.D. and Master’s students;
>** **Contribute to the School’s, the Faculty of Medicine and the University activities and academic visibility.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need**:

- ** **Ph.D. in kinesiology, exercise science, or an equivalent field and demonstrate significant experience in the
field of interest. Post-doctoral research training is an asset;
- ** **Experience in teaching / research in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field;
>** **An excellent publication record;
>** **An excellent track record of knowledge transfer (scientific publications, patents, scientific opinions, clinical

practice guidelines, etc.);
>** **An adequate knowledge of the French written and spoken language **or** a strong commitment to mastering

the proficiency level required, in accordance to Université de Montréal’s Language Policy. An institutional
learning support program is offered to all professors wishing to learn French or improve their communication
skills.
