As an Infrastructure and Energy Transition Corporate Banking Manager, you play a key role in managing a large-scale financing portfolio and actively contribute to the infrastructure and renewable energy team.

You'll be responsible for completing transactions, negotiating legal documents and managing the infrastructure financing portfolio for our existing and potential clients. You'll help maintain personalized business relationships with a strategic client base made up mainly of public and private companies and institutional investors to ensure optimal structures for the products and services we offer.

You help manage financing portfolios with significant development potential for the organization. You work with clients with complex, diverse needs. The ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly understand clients' expressed needs is therefore essential. Your highly complex work and initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of the line of work and comprehensive understanding of the organization.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the work of a team of analysts and ensuring an accurate risk assessment. You'll balance portfolio profitability while working with relationship managers and other stakeholders to structure and negotiate credit solutions that meet client needs and align with risk parameters. You'll be responsible for monitoring the performance and health of the infrastructure and renewable energy financing portfolio.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities- Directly manage a diversified portfolio of direct and syndicated public and private financing for infrastructure located across Canada and the United States.- Prepare internal financing analyses, manage portfolio monitoring and amendments for new and existing clients.- Assess changes in existing borrowers' financial results and risks, including term loans, revolving credit, construction loans and project financing.- Analyze business models and industry trends in infrastructure and renewable energy to facilitate credit analysis and approval.- Interact with internal business partners (e.g., risk management, corporate financing, derivatives teams) and external business partners (e.g., independent engineers, legal advisors and insurance advisors).- Other ad hoc responsibilities determined on an ongoing basis.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, finance or a related field- At least 8 years of experience in corporate financing transactions, infrastructure financing, public-private partnerships and renewable energy- Master's degree or graduate diploma in business, commerce or finance (MBA)(an asset)- Experience in infrastructure financing portfolio management

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.- CFA, CPA or CA designation (an asset)- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.

Specific knowledge- Strong grasp of legal documentation and credit agreement negotiations- Excellent knowledge of the infrastructure market and in-depth analysis- Proficient speaker, complete proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.
