**Real Estate Manager**

As a new member of the Real Estate team, the Real Estate Manager will be reporting to the Director of Real estate. The role of the Real Estate Manager will be:

- To negotiate all business terms for real estate transactions including offer to lease, amendments, retail leases and renewals for the company’s various brands
- To research, gather information including market intelligence on new sites and areas of development for the company’s various brands
- Must be knowledgeable with national and regional landlords for street front, office, enclosed malls, and outdoors shopping centre locations
- Maintain and develop relationships with the landlord community
- Professionally represent MTY by attending various industry, landlord and leasing events
- Negotiate relocations, closures, rent reductions and/or expansion of existing units
- Planification of strategic brand expansion while coordinating with different Band Managers
- Set and attain yearly objectives for brand expansion
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with MTY’s brokers, consultants, and different Brand Leaders
- Responsible for the coordination of all leasing documentation with the Legal department for proper execution
- Responsible for the coordination with the Franchising Team for different brands to ensure proper execution of appropriate documentation
- Coordinate with the construction team to resolve issues relating to construction delays, lease possessions and commencement dates
- Ability to travel from time to time for the realisation of the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities
