We’re expanding our operations and looking for extraordinary leaders to grow our brand in Toronto at our **1 Bloor Street East **location.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager, the **Manager** will ensure that all guests are provided with an exceptional experience while focusing on the five key pillars of
Bowling, Live Music, Events, Food & Beverage and Sports.

The Manager will maintain and elevate the brand standards as well as foster a fun and positive culture.

The Manager will wear many hats and be directly accountable for profitability,
KPIs, overseeing the efficient front and back of house operations while executing the business policies and standards with a high degree of professionalism.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
- Lead, implement and manage all aspect of human resources: recruitment and selection, coaching, training, performance management, recognition, and development
- Lead, manage and deliver an outstanding Guest Experience from beginning to end: dining, and corporate events
- Manage the business plan: focus on standards, sales, costs and personnel
- Develop strong relationship with corporate staff and vendors to ensure the restaurant runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis and meets all policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant
- Effectively oversee controllable costs: food, beverage, labour and quality control promo line
- Monitor and manage fixed costs: continually research and evaluate to minimize costs and optimize Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed
- Ensure the established operational controls and procedures are followed and that company resources are adequately protected - i.e. food and beverage inventory, cash out procedures, company records
- Establishes and maintains appropriate security protocols for guest, employee, and restaurant safety
- Provide direct report supervision to back of house/front of house supervisors

Background Experience and Skills:

- 3 to 5 years of management experience in a full-service, large and high volume restaurant
- Proven leadership skills and ability to follow-through
- Detail oriented and disciplined - track record of effectively prioritizing tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency and adherence to schedules, timelines and procedures
- In depth knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and Point of Sale system
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
- Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays
- Strong analytical/decision-making skills
- Leadership skills - able to direct, coach and supervise a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Customer service skills - able to exceed guest expectations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods
- Corporate event experience is considered an asset

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
