**Job Description**:
This Manager will be responsible for supporting capital reporting, managing relationships with the business and key stakeholders to influence change and improve the capital reporting processes. The manager will also be responsible for supporting the execution and implementation of regulatory changes/onboarding of new products, with focus on derivatives products under SA-CCR approach. In addition, the Manager will support, reengineer business processes where necessary. The Manager will provide meaningful reporting/analysis to influence business behavior, strategic decision making.
- Focus of this role is ensuring accuracy of the derivatives Risk Weighted Assets calculation and reporting. Collaborate the business and other relevant technology stakeholders to ensure OSFI regulatory rules are well understood/interpreted and calculation assumptions accurately capture business rationale.
- Support the team with building and updating data management tools for the new processes as it relates to the derivatives calculation and Basel III reforms projects. (Ms Access, Alteryx, SQL)
- Support the execution, implementation of regulatory changes and testing of RWA results in the TDS capital calculation process to ensure compliance with all existing rules and the upcoming updates in Basel requirements.

- Not a people manger role, however expected to provide leadership, direction, advice and guidance to the team and maintaining high levels of integrity, motivation and morale.

**Requirements**:

- Sound understanding of wholesale banking products including derivative instruments and a good grasp of quantitative data analysis
- Very Strong working knowledge of Excel and Access; experience in analyzing large data sets using SQL/Access/Alteryx
- Comfortable with handling and manipulating large volume of data as needed
- An independent thinker with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to solve complex issues
- Self-starter; willingness to take initiatives for continuous learning and development

**Specific Educational Requirements / Accreditations**:

- CFA, CPA or FRM designation preferred
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
