**Role Context**:
The Assistant Media Planner & Buyer supports the execution and management of their assigned client’s media campaigns. The role will include purchasing and monitoring broadcast buys, ensuring they deliver on the approved plan objectives. Responsibilities will also include supporting the development of cross-media tactical plans, analyzing partner media proposals, and coordinating reporting. The Assistant Planner & Buyer will work closely with the Planning Team to help manage on-going projects while developing their knowledge on research, planning and proprietary tools.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Handle day-to-day client requests.
- Stewardship and day-to-day maintenance of broadcast buys.
- Generate and analyze campaign reports.
- Assist in developing cross-media tactical plans.
- Participate in client brainstorming sessions.
- Use and understand proprietary and syndicated research tools used for planning and reporting.
- Utilize syndicated research to help analyze the competitive landscape.
- Develop agency point of views on media opportunities for clients.
- Input data into DDS/Prisma/Mediaocean and Ad Serving platforms.
- Resolve discrepancies in the billing process.

**Required Skills/ Experience**:

- University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, or related field
- Digitally savvy; uses digital media, demonstrating passion about emerging media, Google Analytics, Google Images, ability to search and research topics, etc.
- Demonstrates understanding of media basics and concepts
- Proficient with DDS, Infosys, and Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Vividata, etc.)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
