We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
**SCOPE+**
**Clerical Support Associate **to join our innovative SCOPE+ and LTC+ Programs.

**Reporting Relationship**: Manager, Integrated Transitions in Care
**Hourly Rate Range**: $25.993 - $26.904

**Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, days (with potential for evening and weekends)**,

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for clerical support including; processing referrals, courtesy reminder calls, patient registration, maintenance of patient records, order entry, data entry and statistics.
- Responsible for customer service including scheduling appointments, updating/creation of schedules in community wide scheduling, answering primary care provider and telephone inquiries.
- Providing clerical support for program duties such as room bookings, development of agenda/minutes for meetings, OTN etc.
- Acts as a liaison with physician offices and the hospital booking process by providing accurate timely information.
- Maintains an effective filing system, cross referencing material as required.
- Ensures confidentiality of all patient related information.
- Collects and maintains statistics as required by the program.
- Communicates with other departments and service areas.
- Other clerical duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of a Community College Medical Secretary Diploma an asset.
- Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
- Minimum 1 year full time equivalent recent clerical experience required.
- Excellent keyboarding skills, with minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- MEDITECH and Community Wide Scheduling computer experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills required, including an ability to prioritize a varied and busy workload. Demonstrated ability to cope and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a team environment
- Knowledge of a second language an asset
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Applicants may be required to successfully complete full administrative testing, to include typing speed and MS Office.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record
