Job DescriptionThe Member Services Representative is the first point of contact for the YWCA Health + Fitness Centre. **What you’ll be doing**:

- Give tours of the facility and register new members and guests
- Process payments for pro shop items, personal training sessions
- Promote and register members for land and aquatic programs, classes and events
- Providing exceptional member care and promote all customer retention initiatives
- Handle member concerns
- Help maintain a safe environment in the facility including monitoring check-ins
- Part of the first response team - responding to emergencies and first aids in the building
- Train on and be proficient in our membership software (Club Automation)
- Ensure all members are in good standing
- Opening and/or closing duties as scheduled
- Other duties as required

**What you’ll need**:

- Must have current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate
- Previous experience in customer care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment, while maintaining a calm, positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, with proven time management and problem
- solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with emergency building evacuation
- A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations will be required)
