- **Mission**:
The Systems Administrator will ensure the seamless operation, security, and efficiency of Assembly Corp's IT infrastructure by providing high availability, reliability, and protection of both on-premises and cloud-based systems to support the business's strategic goals and enhance productivity. Through proactive maintenance, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement, we strive to create a stable and secure environment that enables our team to achieve excellence and innovation.
**Expected Outcomes (includes but not limited to):**:Information Technology (IT)**:

- Performing tests and evaluations on software and hardware.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Staying up-to-date with new IT developments in the industry.
- Supporting and collaborating with software providers, IT providers, and other staff.
- Developing and implementing IT policies and strategies.
- Coordinating with other departments to understand and fulfill their IT needs.
- Analyzing the IT budget and maintaining cost-effectiveness.

**Information Systems (IS)**:

- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all user accounts and profiles.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery operations to safeguard critical data.
- Design, install, implement, and maintain data security systems to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Respond to user issues, concerns, problems, suggestions and inquiries.
- Provide technical support and training to staff to enhance system utilization.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure reliability.
- Maintain and develop software integration scripts.
- Developing and maintaining disaster recovery contingencies.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent technical training or certifications may be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems administration within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency (operating systems, networking, scripting, automation, virtualization, cloud services, artificial intelligence, robotics, machine learning)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Systems management (backup and recovery, monitoring and performance tuning)
- Problem-solving skills (troubleshooting, incident response)
- Discretion
- Interpersonal skills (professional communication, collaboration, teamwork, training, and customer service)
- Adaptability (continuous learning, mental flexibility)

**Nice to haves**:

- Experience in a start-up environment
- BIM, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Sage Intaact
- Knowledge of SQL for managing databases is beneficial.
- Construction, manufacturing and/or real estate industry experience
