We are looking for a dynamic person responsible for the day-to-day operations of DAC's network and systems. This person will work with the Senior Network Administrator and assist in designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting DAC's infrastructure and computer systems across all offices, corporate data centers and cloud hosting environments (MS Azure). They will be responsible for LAN, WAN, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Internet and intranet systems. Additionally, manage and implement corporate network and systems security and compliance policies on all staff endpoint devices. The Network Administrator will also provide guidance to Network Operations and Helpdesk staff and, when needed, provide level 2 support to DAC employees

- Microsoft MCSA
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- COMPTIA (A+, Net+, and Linux+), CCNA (an asset)
- Advanced experience and knowledge of LAN management (Active Directory, Domain Controllers, network routing)
- Advanced experience and knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, network topology, switch configurations, and security)
- Intermediate experience and knowledge of Network Design and Implementation
- Intermediate experience and knowledge of virtualization management and configuration
- Basic experience and knowledge of network performance tuning and vulnerability scanning
- Basic experience and knowledge of Microsoft M365 Security for endpoint management (Intune, MDM, Defender ATP, BitLocker)
- Basic experience and knowledge in managing Apple endpoints (laptops and workstations)
- Basic experience building and managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments is an asset
- Basic experience with related Windows Azure technologies is an asset
- Basic experience managing Linux servers is an asset
- Ability to promptly diagnose and remedy physical and cloud-related problems and failures
- Excellent English language is written and verbal communication skills
- French, German, and or Spanish verbal communication skills are an asset.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend work is required
- Occasional travel to an international branch office may be required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 Kilograms (22 Pounds) for a short distance.
**Responsibilities**
- Network Management_
- Establishes network specifications by conferring with the IT Director; analyzing data/traffic flow, access, information, and security requirements; designing and implement network infrastructure, including layer 3 switches and Wi-Fi interface configuration and routing protocols.
- Implements networks by evaluating network performance issues, including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
- Participate in architecture review
- Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
- Secures network by developing and evaluating network access, monitoring, and control policies and creating and maintaining network and systems documentation.
- Upgrades network and systems by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
- Administration of Microsoft M365 and all related tools and systems.
- Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets and monitoring expenses.
- Works with IT Director to develop and maintain IT disaster recovery plan documentation and testing.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
