**BEAR MOUNTAIN ACTIVITY CENTRE ASSOCIATE**

The Bear Mountain Activity Centre is seeking motivated, customer-service oriented individuals to join our team as Activity Centre Associates (several positions). We are filling both full time, and part time positions.

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Reporting to the Manager, the Activity Centre Associates are responsible for providing exceptional front line customer service and monitoring the activity centre’s multiple gyms and outdoor pool.

Your duties will include monitoring the activities of the centre, including the gym and the pool. Customer service and sales are a key component of this role, and you will assist in selling gym and pool memberships. The Associates are responsible for light cleaning duties and for tidying the centre as required. These roles have the potential to deliver fitness programming, depending on the qualifications of the individuals.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a gym setting with some knowledge of fitness and equipment
- BCRPA or related certification would be considered an asset
- Lifeguarding experience would be considered an asset but not required
- Current Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills

Home to Canada’s first and only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf, Bear Mountain stands apart as one of the finest golf resorts anywhere. The Bear Mountain Tennis Centre (BMTC) offers eight red clay courts organized in two sets of four court modules and the recently added Bear Mountain Activity Centre (BMAC) rounds out the amenity offerings. The day-to-day environment within the resort community is highly animated with guests, tennis, golf and BMAC members along with residents and vacationers using the amenities as a hub for socializing and relaxing.
