Support Staff Regular Part-time New Position

(First consideration for Support Staff and Academic positions will be given to internal applicants in accordance with the respective Collective Agreements)

This position will work 24 hours per week. The hours of work will be Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

**Responsibilities**:
**Data Management, Collection & Extraction**
- Develop, oversee, and maintain robust data collection systems and databases, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and security while capturing all necessary data requirements
- Organize and maintain well-structured data repositories, enabling easy access and retrieval of information for International Department teams and other stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and update data sources and data quality
- Conduct regular data cleaning and correction activities, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of the databases and other data repositories
- Create backups for various databases, data sources, active SharePoint lists, and other files to ensure data security and continuity
- Monitor and maintain automation processes and flows daily
- Identify and develop efficient methods of gathering and cleaning data, for international projects
- Conduct research, design, and implement accelerated and efficient data delivery through automation, following the guidance of the Manager, International Business Intelligence, Systems & Technology
- Ensure strict adherence to data protection regulations and institutional policies, safeguarding the confidentiality and privacy of International Department data

**Automation & Process Improvement**
- Identify opportunities to enhance the automation of data management processes including data collection, analysis, reporting processes, and other process efficiencies within the International Department
- Collaborate with International Department teams to align data management and automation efforts with the goals and objectives of the department
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement, implementing necessary changes to optimize data management workflows
- Identify, develop, and implement automated workflows and processes, scripts, and other tools such as in-house databases, or apps to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency for data collection, processing, and reporting procedures and projects within the International Department
- Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions and tools (e.g., CRM, data integration platforms), ensuring the integration of diverse data sources, implementation of robust data governance measures, and improved data accessibility for effective management of data related to the International Department

Qualifications:

- Two-year Diploma in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Processing and Reporting, Big Data Solution Architecture, Computer Programming, or a related discipline
- Two years of Practical experience working with large data systems and experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in data management, automation, and process improvement
- Proficiency in data management tools and databases, with demonstrated expertise in using tools such as SQL, Excel, or other relevant database management systems for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis
- Experience in developing and implementing automated workflows, scripts, or tools using programming languages like Python, R, or automation platforms
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data integration platforms, with experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and data integration platforms to optimize data management processes, facilitate data integration, and improve data accessibility
- Understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and best practices for ensuring data security and confidentiality
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Strong organizational and time management skills are essential

- Meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- A growth mindset, willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies, data management practices, and industry trends
