Skoki Lodge is a backcountry lodge located in the high alpine of Banff National Park. At an elevation of 7,100 feet (2,164 meters) the lodge is only accessible by hiking or skiing the 11km trail that begins at the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

Reporting to the Skoki Manager**, **the role of Skoki Lodge Attendant is to be a ‘jack of all trades’ while delivering a high quality level of service.

**Job Location**:
Skoki Lodge is a backcountry lodge located in the high alpine of Banff National Park. At an elevation of 7,100 feet (2,164 meters) the lodge is only accessible by hiking or skiing the 11km trail that begins at the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

**Please note that while accommodation is provided while working at the Lodge, no staff accommodation is available for days off. Employees will need their own accommodation**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the manager and supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the Lodge ensuring that the highest level of service and guest satisfaction is achieved.
- Provide guidance and assistant to Lodge Attendants.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of water quality, food handling, garbage handling, WCB, OH&S and wildlife encounters in accordance with LLSA policies and standards set out by governing agencies.

**Job Requirements/Qualifications**:

- A keen outdoor enthusiast with knowledge of local flora and fauna
- Enthusiastic hiker, and cross country skier with backcountry touring experience
- Willingness to work in a team environment with and live in this beautiful remote location
- Good knowledge of the local area and history
- Comfortable working in a Lodge with limited modern amenities (e.g wood fire places, kerosene candles and a satellite phone are still a part of daily the operations at Skoki Lodge)
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Previous backcountry lodge experience considered an asset
- Previous cook or chef experience considered an asset

Please note: As this is a remote work location there is no internet access or wifi capabilities available on site.

**Work Schedule**:
10 days on / 4 days off
