- Ensure quality products are attained by conducting product and process audits
- Co-ordinate and assist in capability optimization and validation studies on key processes to ensure that equipment and processes are capable of achieving a quality product
- Understanding key processes and the identification and implementation of process improvements

**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**1. **Auditing - Component / Product / Process / 3rd Party (50%)**
- Evaluate components and 3rd Party products for the adherence to specification
- Conduct process and product audits according to corporate guidelines

**2. **Process Improvement (40%)**
- Co-ordinate and assist in capability, optimization and validation studies on key processes to establish if the specified requirements can be met, and to identify and ensure corrective action is carried out as necessary
- Attend First Production runs to ensure that equipment and process are capable of achieving a quality product. Implement improvements where necessary and communicate results to key personnel

**3. **Supplier Communication (10%)**
- Assist with supplier certification through process
- Communicate quality issues to vendors

**Qualifications** QUALIFICATIONS**

1. Minimum 3 years of Community College in science / engineering, or equivalent

2. Minimum 2 years of work related experience

3. Good understanding of Total Quality Management

4. Good problem solving techniques

5. Sound knowledge of GMP’s and ISO9000

6. Familiarization with statistical software

7. Excellent written and verbal communication

8. Strong interpersonal skills

9. Strong computer skills

10. ASQ certification preferred
