**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- Must be a registered student, returning to studies in fall 2024, grade 10-12 or post-secondary
- Related courses, experience and training in computer skills, MS Office, Outlook & Excel programs.
- Experience with databases & reporting
- Previous experience working in a local government or First Nation environment is considered an asset
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Criminal Record Check with results acceptable to WFN
- Valid BC class seven (7) or five (5) driver’s license preferred and Acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and uses discretion on all matters relating to the affairs of the Westbank First Nation.

**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Carries out work plans as provided by the supervisor and updates work plans as needed.
- Assists with compliance of all safe operating procedures and ensures they are all updated.
- Willing to learn accident/incident investigations
- Attend Government to Government meetings with Intergovernmental Affairs
- Helps to maintains data tracking records
- Helps to carry out administrative duties associated within the Archaeology Office.
- Willingness to learn Project Coordination on WFN Lands.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and uses discretion on all matters relating to the affairs of Westbank First Nation
- Willing to learn and perform archaeology field work.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Westbank First Nation policies, standards, and procedures

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**
- Knowledge and interest in learning policies, manuals and safe work procedures.
- Ability to time manage and keep organized.
- Must have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Personable and friendly personality
- Knowledge of WFN Community Services programs, services and issues

The hourly range for this position is $16.75 - $23.00
