**Hourly Wage**:$35.00, per hour. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with flexible hours given the 24/7 nature of complex. Benefited after three months probationary period is passed.

The Supportive Housing Manager (SHM) oversees the day-to-day operations of the building and manages the Women’s Supportive Housing initiatives on CWAVS’ floors. The SHM provides leadership, support, and supervision to a wide variety of staff and supports a shared staffing model with the White Road Agency Partners. The SHM ensures all service delivery obligations are fulfilled and supports the implementation of the CWAV vision.

**Leadership**:

- Holds the highest level of accountability for the White Road Housing Program.

- Establishes and maintains a strong team-based approach with the staff. Develops and motivates staff to attain program service responsibilities. Builds an engaged and employee-centric culture.
- Develops anti-racism practices and builds inclusion, equity, and diversity.
- Incorporates trauma informed practices in all aspects of the work.
- Participates on committees as relevant to position and as requested.
- Works proactively with CWAVS personnel to create and maintain a positive work environment.

**Program Management & Staff Supervision**:

- Participates on the Management Steering Committee, representing program perspectives, sharing, and inviting information flow with program staff. Participates in strategic planning to support CWAVS’ growth and development.
- Participates on the Housing Committee to ensure internal communication is consistent and shared where appropriate.
- Submits Quarterly Board Reports to the Executive Director.
- Promotes community engagement and awareness. Partners and networks with other agencies and community stakeholders as required.
- In collaboration with the PD, participates in internal HR strategic planning including mentoring and orientation. Identifies and promotes ongoing learning opportunities, including staff development needs, collaboration opportunities, and growth plan/supervision processes.
- Supervises and evaluates the program staff, including and not limited to:

- Hiring
- Performance Coaching and Management
- Training
- Human Resources matters.
- Succession Planning and Cross-training
- Plans and facilitates team meetings.
- Is a go-to amongst staff for all complex client and/or staff situations.
- Takes on projects as directed.

**Program Operations & Planning**:

- Schedules all women’s floors program positions, plus operations positions including reception and kitchen staff, within FTE and building requirements.
- Works closely with contractors such as janitorial and maintenance to ensure building needs are met, including room turnovers.
- Formulates and recommends new or revised operating and program activities to the PD and assists in directing the development, revision, and implementation of the Program’s policies.
- Together with the PD determines budgetary, operational, and organizational requirements for the program.

**Client Services**:

- The SHM contributes to the achievement of high-quality client services by implementing trauma-informed best practices, and building strong relationships within the CWAV community and other agencies in the broader community.
- When needed, provide direct services to clients including general information resource work, supervisor on-call shifts, and assist with facilitation of meetings among residents to maintain a cooperative living environment and assist residents to coordinate their contributions to a cooperative living environment.
- Assist program staff with information, referrals, and de-briefing as necessary.
- The SHM may need, in emergency, to fill in for program staff.

**Professional, Financial, Legal**:

- Works closely with the finance team and White Road Partners to ensure that the building budget is on track, rent is collected and follow up occurs if any rents are owing.
- Tracks all financials, reconciliations, purchasing, and is responsible for adhering to the White Road Program annual budget.
- Ensures compliance with all contracts; meets reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Ensures proper administration of all record keeping and service delivery obligations of the programs, including those relating to program budget, financial and operating areas.
