Master Data is the foundation of the business. Its role is critical to the business to enable procurement, planning, manufacturing, selling, warehousing and the distribution of materials. Accurate and timely data will allow the business to achieve its goals.

**DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)**:

- Manage Master Data team and associated business processes to support the Lindt Canada business unit.
- Subject Matter Expert providing direction, advice and information to assist the organization in understanding the interdependencies and intricacies of Master Data and its impact on all areas of the business
- With the master data team, ensure all appropriate master data is entered into the systems in a timely and efficiency manner, ensuring the business hits it goals.
- Support the NPI system and process to ensure new product launches are executed with precision in support of sales goals and that items are in compliance with GS1 Industry Standard Guidelines.
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to ensure master data is consistent and accurate
- Interpret business policies, resolve issues, and recommend solutions.
- Manage Master Data Team in the collaborative engagement with multiple disciplines to identify and implement process improvements to current Business/System processes.
- Manage the team in the participation of all Business Imperative Projects.
- Responsible for end to end process for master data collection and entry to all systems.
- Responsible for creating synergies in the process for data collection and entry into systems, to ensure the right data is available at the right time in the right systems.
- Responsible for new system development, testing, system evaluation and maintenance. Including working with IT to analyze current system and to make recommendations and decisions regarding production issues and new system functionality. Including sign off and validation as needed
- Manage the team resources in the training new colleagues as well as the retraining of existing ones for all Master Data processes.
- Manage team resources and provide direction as required to ensure Cost Requests are completed to support project timelines
- Support the team as required in liaising with Marketing, Operation Development, Production, Purchasing, L&CO and Plant Finance in directing the provision of timely and accurate data for all product costs

**Qualifications**
- University degree or college diploma in business or data management an asset
- 5+ years’ experience in data roles, preferably in a CPG environment.
- 5+ years ERP experience.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Global Industry Standards (GS1) knowledge a must.
- Flexible with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and daily work activities in a fast paced environment.
- Strong problem identification, resolution and implementation skills.
- Team oriented individual, able to work constructively and cooperatively with team members, as well as with other departments.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to coach, motivate and educate others.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- High energy, self-directed individual who demonstrates leadership skills
