Neptune Retail Solutions provides proven and innovative data led omni-channel solutions for brands and retailers to guide consumers from shopping to buying. We are the share leader in North America in selling, producing and executing end to end in-store advertising, found in retailers like Kroger, Albertsons, Dollar General, Loblaws, Metro, CVS and Walgreens. Checkout 51, our owned & operated cash back shopping app, along with the deterministic first party data it generates, compliments and powers our programmatic digital media offering and, along with our FSI, we completely surround and guide shoppers towards purchase in-store or online.

The VP, Retail Sales & Strategy Officer, Neptune Retail Solutions will be tasked with growing and expanding the relationship with assigned and new retail accounts across Canada. The role offers an exceptional opportunity to build upon existing relationships and expand our partnership across our strategic retail partners utilizing Neptune’s comprehensive portfolio, including In Store Advertising, Digital Incentives, and At Home solutions. There is opportunity to “go wider and deeper” within the assigned accounts Operating Units to uncover net-new opportunities.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Strategically build upon current and new relationships to close profitable growth for both Neptune and our Retail Partners. Assumes responsibility for the growth, management, and retention of sales across assigned retail accounts, and for ensuring performance is aligned with company goals and profitability requirements.
- Manages relationships and negotiations at all levels of assigned Canadian Retail accounts.
- Secure meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and how Neptune capabilities can help potential customers to achieve their goals, and to build out robust opportunity pipeline.
- Drive adoption of Neptune solutions across operating units, by creating client-centric campaigns utilizing the Neptune capabilities and resources to address client needs. Ability to build recommendations based on data, insights, and financial forecasting models is essential.
- Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting to management.
- Management and coaching of Neptune Canadian retail sales team
- Member of the Canadian Leadership Team

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of delivering results through the closing of sales in the Canadian retail landscape, ideally with or on behalf of CPG’s
- Has consistently achieved or exceeded profitable sales goals selling business to business
- Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential
- Self-starter with high-level of personal accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly within fast-paced environment
- Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers
- Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Ability to confidently communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of CPG and retail industry
- Bi-lingual (French)
