**Position Summary**

The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role within our Guest Services team. This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service by providing assistance, addressing inquiries, educating guests on facility rules and procedures, and presenting a range of options in a friendly and courteous manner. The Representative is adept at identifying and promoting opportunities for added value and increased sales, showcasing strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to enhance the overall guest experience. Responsibilities include handling both in-person and over-the-phone program registrations, facilitating internal and external communication, managing facility admissions, and promoting membership sales.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Customer Service**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist visitors with information about facility services, programs, and activities.
- Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Well informed and positioned to communicate programing policies and procedures for all aspects of the facility, and enforces rules in a positive manner.

**Membership Services**
- Process new memberships and renewals.
- Provide information on membership benefits and privileges.
- Assist in resolving membership-related issues.

**Cash Handling**
- Process cash and electronic transactions accurately.
- Reconcile daily cash and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate information regarding facility hours, programs, and events.

**Facility Access**
- Manage access control systems and ensure the smooth entry and exit of guests.
- Support facility scheduling with Arena dressing room assignments.
- Verify memberships and handle day-pass transactions

**Administrative Support**
- Assist in maintaining accurate guest records and databases.
- Collaborate with other departments for effective communication and issue resolution.

**Experience**:

- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and handling electronic transactions.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
- WHMIS certification
- Satisfactory Police Criminal Records Check required.

**Working Conditions**
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $15.25-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
