**Job Summary**:
As a Counsellor at Aurora Recovery Centre, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and groups navigate their personal journeys toward recovery and self-improvement. Your expertise in specialized therapies, psychotherapy, and your ability to connect with clients on a profound level will empower them to identify, understand, and overcome personal obstacles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with clients to create personalized treatment plans and goals that align with their recovery journey.
- Providing psychotherapy services to help clients gain insight into their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
- Offering support, guidance, and coping strategies to empower clients to overcome obstacles and make positive life changes.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and other professionals to ensure holistic client care.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications and licensing as required by state or regulatory bodies.
- Proven experience in providing counselling services, including individual and group therapy.
- Empathetic nature, exceptional listening skills, and the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with colleagues.
- Dedication to maintaining ethical standards and client confidentiality.
- Experience working in a recovery or mental health setting is an asset.

**Salary**: $35.00-$44.00 per hour
