**Student Research Assistant for Study on Arab Muslim Refugee Women's Perspectives on Breast Awareness**:
This position is within the College of Nursing, where researchers work hard to create equitable and sustainable solutions to improve health experiences and outcomes for individuals, families, and communities provincially, nationally, and internationally.

**Primary Purpose**: In the appointment of Research Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be to work with the Principal Investigator, graduate student research assistant, and other members of the research team to support the directives for the newly-funded research project: Influences of Gender, Religion, and Social Context on Arab Muslim Refugee Women's Perspectives on Breast Awareness.

**Nature of the work**:
Your general work location will be at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon campus, and you will report to Dr. Louise Racine.

**Required Number of Hours**:10 hours per week***

**Duration of Employment**:July 3, 2023 -December 31, 2023

**Education**: Currently registered as a USask undergraduate student, preferably 3rd or higher year in nursing or a related health sciences field. Preference will be given to a student enrolled with the College of Nursing, but other applicants will be considered.

**Experience**:

- ** **Good academic standing,
- Experience or strong interest in qualitative research methods,
- Experience or willingness to work as a member of a research team is an asset

**Skills**:

- ** **Strong interest in qualitative methods and research,
- Ability to speak Arabic, knowledge of the Muslim culture,
- Good listening skills, willingness to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Experience conducting interviews and focus groups is an asset,
- Excellent time management skills and reliability are required.
