This position also provides administrative support to managers, calculates the cost of materials, and follows procedures for processing orders from purchase order to packing slip, invoicing, posting into accounts payable, processing payments, filing paperwork, and answering telephones as needed. Some contact with customers and suppliers will be required. This position is a 4-6 month contract for the summer.

To be considered for this position you must have a post-secondary school diploma in accounting or currently enrolled in an accounting program and some customer service experience. To be successful, your skills should include intermediate level MS Excel, problem solving, attention to detail, organizing and planning, multi-tasking, and time management. The Accounting and Administration Assistant must be able to work effectively, even with frequent interruptions.

We are just steps away from a bus stop and our hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
