Assistant Manager

**Duties**:

- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient store performance
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving complaints, and addressing inquiries
- Train and supervise staff members, including cashiers and clerks, to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed to maintain adequate stock
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent cashiering skills with attention to detail in cash handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to sell products and promote upselling opportunities
- Knowledge of basic math principles for accurate cash handling and inventory management

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
