We are currently looking for an interim Guest Services Manager for a one-year maternity leave coverage. The Guest Services Manager oversees the entire Guest Services Department in Vancouver. This role is responsible for managing the department’s day-to-day operations, coordinating administrative duties, leading the team, and ensuring efficient and effective practices.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Managerial Tasks:

- Manage day-to-day operations including assigning tasks, coordinating staff, and ensuring that the office runs efficiently and to company standards
- Support and coach employees through problem resolution and decision-making processes when dealing with guests and clients
- Develop and maintain employee performance by establishing corporate and individual goals, succession planning, and issuing disciplines when required
- Distribute workloads fairly and cross-training employees
- Hire and train new employees
- Monitor and control expenses and budgets for department
- Assist team at all levels, including answering phones and performing tasks within the Guest Services Department
- Other duties as assigned

Guest Services Tasks:

- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords
- Resolve customer complaints and appeals regarding violation notices
- Assist with company inquires for walk in customers
- Maintain accurate and updated file notes for ongoing history and referencing
- Accept payment by POS for parking notices, monthly parking invoices and transient parking
- Provide administrative support, basic filing, data entry, and other clerical duties

**Qualifications**
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a managerial role; Accounting and billing experience is considered as an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office customer service or call center position
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and negotiate with parking customers while offering appropriate resolutions
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize effectively and work on multiple tasks
- Manage, interpret, and implement company standards, policies, and procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
