**Position Summary**
We are looking for a Master Production Schedule (MPS) Planner based at our North York office reporting into the Demand and Supply Lead, Confectionery, Nestlé Canada.

**A day in the life of a Master Production Scheduler**
In this role you will work as part of the demand and supply planning team collaborating closely with the Sterling Road factory to build an 18 month production plan respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location at the right time and quantity, to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost and achieving targeted customer customer service levels.

You will also:

- Create and establish a feasible 18month production plan that respects capacity defined (available capacity) utilizing OMP system.
- Plan required supply to ensure the targeted customer service level, optimize working capital for finished goods, raw & pack and FreshNes targets within a (NCE) Nestle Continues Excellence mindset.
- Challenge ways of working on regular basis to manage lot sizes, cycle times and R&P inventory levels, to drive optimum FG inventory level. Also, challenge and support Demand & Supply Planner to improve Demand Planning Accuracy and Bias
- Identify and manage exceptions, transitions and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Supply Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.
- Consistently achieve sustainable Customer Service Levels (COF) for customers within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring that the weekly planning process is executed on time.
- Establish Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc.
- Identify possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18 month horizon
- Actively support the Annual Volume Commitment and Strategic Volume Planning process (i.e. Capex Planning) by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning and contingency proposals both over long and short-term horizons sharing outcomes and findings to business team
- Analyze exceptions, to take business decisions (based on priorities) and to adjust planning results accordingly
- Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information including Supply issues and detailing impacts of proposed actions and related tradeoffs.
- Proactively engage with peer Planners to share best practices, liaise with LEAN Champion, Business Excellence and Production Management to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a super user and/or expert in different forums (networks, workplace groups...) within own category/market and with other categories/markets/zones
- Participate and engage in continuous improvement efforts utilizing LEAN mindset, with an end-to-end approach, in everyday business and overall improvements.
- Seek out and work collaboratively on improving autonomy within Supply Chain, injecting digitalization where appropriate to help improve processes and create added value through efficiencies
