**Poste à pourvoir**:
Au sein de notre service de l’entretien, le chef d’atelier est responsable de l’examen et de l’analyse de tous les camions et remorques Challenger qui sont soumis à des inspections annuelles, à des réparations et à des travaux d’entretien. Le chef d’atelier doit également planifier l’exécution des travaux et communiquer les délais de réparation aux responsables des unités opérationnelles pour s’assurer de répondre à leurs besoins et à leurs attentes.

**Principales responsabilités**:

- Fixer les priorités et déléguer les instructions de travail et les réparations programmées aux mécaniciens de manière à garantir le respect des normes de qualité et de productivité
- Vérifier l’exactitude des bons de travail des mécaniciens et, une fois les travaux terminés, les approuver et les fermer
- Élaborer et planifier l’ordre de priorité des travaux quotidiens de manière à assurer la conformité des camions et des remorques aux exigences et travailler en étroite collaboration avec le service des opérations pour déterminer les priorités en matière d’équipement
- Identifier, diagnostiquer et communiquer tout problème lié à l’entretien de la flotte de camions et de remorques en utilisant les canaux internes appropriés en vue d’une résolution
- Organiser des réunions de sécurité quotidiennes avec les subordonnés directs et leur communiquer régulièrement les priorités de l’atelier, les attentes, les exigences en matière de santé et de sécurité, etc.
- Guider, encadrer et former les mécaniciens possédant des connaissances liées au métier afin de développer leurs aptitudes et compétences techniques et de s’assurer qu’ils respectent les processus et procédures en vigueur
- Diriger des entretiens individuels avec les subordonnés directs pour discuter de leur développement personnel, de leurs objectifs SMART et de leur rendement
- Collaborer avec d’autres services d’entretien pour fournir des estimations précises des travaux de réparation de remorques impliquées dans des accidents de la route, afin de déterminer les prochaines étapes
- Entretenir les relations avec les fournisseurs afin de s’assurer que les devis, les prix et les délais d’exécution répondent aux attentes de l’entreprise
- Assurer une communication rapide et professionnelle avec les concessionnaires, les fournisseurs, etc.
