Tibro Group is looking to hire a full-time **Construction Site Coordinator** to join our team, on a 6-month contract.

Tibro is a real estate company focused on developing and operating purpose-built rental housing in Southern Ontario. We are currently in a rapid growth phase, and are looking for an energetic, driven individual to join our team.

**Position Summary**
- Reviewing construction documents & specifications, and ensuring that all work is in conformance (including e.g. size of rooms, size of kitchens, flooring/tile patterns, finishes types by units, etc.)
- Conducting daily site walk-throughs of every unit to determine deficiencies, non-conformances or incomplete work
- Noting all deficiencies in a clear and detailed manner using deficiency tracking sheets, and reporting them to the Director of Construction
- Ensuring that all work completed is up to Tibro standard and on time
- Advising the Director of Construction of any work that is completed or is intended to be completed that is non-conforming; assisting in the resolution of deficiencies
- Measuring and quality checking Tibro supplied building materials
- Monitoring site progress and reporting to the Director of Construction
- Keeping detailed records of work completed each day, including photos and written logs
- Preparing tender packages with the help of the Director of Construction
- Tendering work to trades; following up for pricings; scheduling work of trades; verifying that work is completed to standard and on time
- Communicating with contractors to complete work that is incomplete or non-conforming
- Documenting and making warranty claims to contractors & trades
- Coordinating the work of architects, engineers, surveyors, or Tibro forces
- Reviewing and documenting the use of on-site labour, rental equipment and other general conditions items with the aim to reduce cost and improve efficiency
- Digitally filing & organizing all project documents including: construction drawings, contracts, reports/logs/shop drawings, warranty & close-out documents, third party agreements, etc.

**Qualifications**
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- 2+ years’ experience in the construction industry
- Adept with technology and Microsoft Office
- Extremely observant -- has a keen eye to make sure our finishes are perfect
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, especially finishing work
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Self-starting, detail oriented and diligent -- follows up to make sure things get done
- Entrepreneurial mindset with very strong work ethic
