Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of men on their recovery journey? We're looking for a committed Christian to join our team as a Recovery Care Worker, where you will act as a role model and source of support for the men in our Recovery Program. In this role, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing vital support to men as they work towards healing and growth. Your responsibilities will include offering referrals to essential services, accompanying participants to appointments, advocating for their needs, organizing program activities, and addressing the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of their recovery. You will also assist in conducting searches and screenings and provide supervision where needed. You will be a friendly, supportive, and encouraging presence, seeking opportunities to speak with the men about various aspects of a recovery lifestyle and spiritual matters, and praying with them when appropriate. Ideally, your own personal journey will include the lived experience of going through recovery.

This position requires flexibility, including shift work on weekends, evenings, overnights, and statutory holidays. If you are passionate about making a difference and are committed to modeling positive, Christ-like behavior while supporting men in recovery, we want to hear from you. You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.

The starting wage for this position is $26.26 to $28.70 per hour.
