**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a **Business Analyst** with experience in HRMS and specifically implementing UKG PRO in medium to large, multi-branch organizations from start to finish in a unionized, North American environment. This position reports to the HRMS Manager and works closely with our implementation team, various business stakeholders, and members of our HR and technology team to architect and successfully execute the HRMS implementation and rollout in a multi-phase, multi-site project spanning Canada and the US.

The **Business Analyst (BA)** spends time gathering, organizing and preparing data and processes while supporting the configuration of the new system and participate in testing the processes during User Acceptance Testing. Once satisfied with the processes, the BA will sign off on implementation and the production of the training materials. As training materials are finalized, the BA will provide training and support prior to, during and after the Go Live. Their goal is to ensure that local branch end users are well prepared for Go Live as well as to assist with any challenges encountered during the transition. This role may continue to develop into process reviews that will continue during the optimization phase over the next several years.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with our implementation partner and internal team members to design and architect solutions ensuring best industry practices.
- Support functional teams of the project execution including but not limited to compensation, benefits, payroll, HR, recruiting, onboarding to ensure clarity and visibility throughout the project team.
- Assist in the collection and consolidation of required information and data, ensuring accuracy, quality control, version control, issue management.
- Interpret government legislation and collective agreements in the US.
- Actively monitoring project risks and scope to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively working with project teams to identify solutions to address them in advance.
- Assist in building test scripts and sign off on acceptable processes.
- Ensure tasks are completed in line with overall project plan, and timeline.
- Proactively identify potential risks and gaps to ensure proper mitigating strategies can be developed and communicated transparently.
- Work with key stakeholders to define and analyze comprehensive metrics to inform the success of projects post go-live.
- Assist in education and construction of training materials.

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required**:

- Proven experience in transitioning large scale HRMS projects for a distribution or manufacturing organization.
- 5-7 years experience in the following integrated functions: Payroll, HR, Benefits, Recruiting/Onboarding, Workforce Management, and LMS.
- 3-5 years mandatory experience implementing UKG PRO.
- Must be knowledgeable of all US laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is an asset).
- Effective interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus including demonstrated flexibility and end user advocacy.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive.
- Well organized with excellent analytical, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and experience with HRMS.
- Some travel to locations in the US and Canada may be required (20%).
