Create Statement of Work
- Create detailed project plan that includes tasks, schedule, resources and budget within parameters of contract and MA standards
- Prepare communication, risk, scope, quality and cost management plans to ensure successful completion of project
- Maintain constant communication with MA Foreman/Subcontractors and Site Supervisor/Project Manager
- Ensure customer’s site is prepared and ready for crew to work onsite
- Schedule MA crew and/or subcontractors in coordination with other projects and site
- Coordinate project daily activities (crew, sub-trades, materials, equipment) and resolve conflicts
- Support MA crew/subcontractors to ensure they have the materials, tools and time to perform their work
- Order and arrange delivery of material, pump services, rental of specialized equipment, disposal services
- Follow established best practices and procedures for quality control
- Identify and mitigate risks and resolve conflicts to ensure successful completion of project
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with crew, subcontractors and site personnel
- Ensure crew is aware of known hazards on site and have the necessary personal protective equipment
- Monitor and track work against schedule daily to ensure completion on time
- Ensure time sheets are up to date daily in the time reporting system
- Ensure project stays within budget by managing and tracking costs daily
- Take initiative and implement corrective measures to ensure project completes successfully
- Document change requests (revisions and additions) to contractual agreements
- Evaluate the impact of changes on schedule and budget
- Obtain approvals for changes in scope, schedule and costs
- Maintain detailed project plans (scope, resources, schedule, costs, risks and quality)
- Record and track all equipment and material movements
- Ensure project database is up to date for related project
- Review and approve all related invoices (subcontractors, sub-trades, materials, equipment, freight, customs and brokerage)
- Provide accounting with all information required for invoicing customer in a timely fashion
- Ensure customer payments are current and follow up on late payments
- Escalate issues that threaten the health of the project
- Provide project updates to management
- Conduct a project review upon completion with MA foreman and site supervisor/project manager
- Obtain signoff from customer site supervisor/project manager
- Submit requests for Certificate of Completion to customer and follow up on holdbacks
- Prepare close out documentation for MA records

**Skills and Qualifications**
- 3 - 4 years experience in the construction industry and/or equivalency in construction courses
- 2 - 3 years project administration or project management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to ensure effective and accurate communication with staff, subcontractors, suppliers, shippers, brokers and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer’s expectations and resolve disputes
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organization skills
- Basic understanding of contracts and experience in managing under the terms of a contract
- Basic understanding of budgeting and cost controls
- Dedicated to health and safety in the workplace
- Good computer skills, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, power point

**Other**
- Flexible work schedule, generally work in office 8:30 am to 4:30 pm but, must be on-call for site issues which may start at 7:00 am but rarely before 7:30 am; occasionally site visits will be required
- Valid BC Driver’s License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
