We are looking for a Finance intern to join our team with a main focus on end to end accounts payable processing. The analyst will also provide support to our internal and fund accounting departments in areas such as Accounts Receivable, Month End Processes, and Ad Hoc Projects. You will get to work with a growing team that is innovative, collaborative and highly effective.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supporting the accounting process using Quickbooks Online (QBO)
- Posting AR and AP entries accurately and in a timely manner and ensuring that payment is received and sent out accordingly
- Managing the Accounts Payable Inbox and maintaining good communication with vendors
- Reviewing and approving expenses in Expensify and ensuring that expenses are properly categorized and allocated
- Assisting with month end closing processes
- Investigating any new vendors/suppliers and checking if approval was provided and costs are within budget
- Other projects and operations will be assigned on an ad hoc basis

**What you will bring**:

- Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Commerce
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication, investigative and analytical skills
- Excels in a fast paced team and maintains work ethic under pressure
- Expert organizational and time management skills
- Adaptable and thrives in a changing business environment
- Strong research and interpretation skills of accounting related matters
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
