In order to meet the increased demand for our equipment we are currently seeking a **_Research & Development Technician_**.

As the **_R&D Technician_** you will live out our commitment to Innovation. Special projects, assembly, and testing will all be daily components of this role.

In this role you will support the Engineering department through:

- Fabricating design concepts
- Investigating and diagnosing faults and malfunctions
- Adjusting equipment, repairing and replacing parts, components or systems
- Reporting findings back to our engineering and fabrication teams and collaborating on solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of project details
- Upholding our commitment to safety

Qualifications Include:

- Curiosity and a passion for making things work
- All combinations of education and experience in heavy equipment/agricultural assembly and repair will be considered
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work very well independently

Availability: Co-op Term starting in January, 8 months preferred

Are you ready to take the next step in your Career? We have an upcoming opportunity in the Research and Development Department as an **_R&D Technician_**.

Your core mission in this role is to assist the R&D team with product development projects and assignments. You’ll collaborate effectively with other team members - both R&D and Cross-Functional - to solve critical problems throughout the product development process.

**Your Responsibilities in This Role Will Include**:

- Assisting with design, fabrication and assembly of concepts and prototypes
- Testing prototypes to verify product reliability and make adjustments as required
- Designing and fabricating jigs and fixtures for testing and replicating various field conditions
- Participate in product development projects, which include researching and developing ideas for new and current existing products

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in fabricating, welding and repair of machinery
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches

- Must be a self-starter and work well with mínimal supervision
