Russell Hendrix is looking to add **Accounts Payable Clerk** to join our Finance team. You’ll be an integral part of our finance team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all payment documents related to the Accounts Payable team. This is an ideal role for a detail oriented individual with a passion for using their analytical skills to contribute to the success of the team and the organization.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Responsible for performing data entry and related duties in disbursing non-payroll accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, corporations, and other entities
- Maintaining ledgers, credit balances, and account irregularities
- Post and reconcile company payments to general ledgers.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payment documents such as purchase orders, travel reimbursements, stipends, and any other accounting transactions related to A/P management.
- Review bills to the company for potential errors and/or discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions; liase with other departments to address.
- Form payment strategies to make timely A/P payments and mitigate supplier objections.
- Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- You have a university, college diploma, or certificate completion in a related field.
- You have basic knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controls.
- You have an excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- You written and verbal communication skills are excellent.
- You are highly collaborative and team oriented.
