Under the direction of the Director of Operations. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting with and completing day-to-day company financial transactions and record keeping in an accurate and timely manner. As a Finance Assistant with Eramosa Learning Academy, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director of Operations by performing various day to day financial tasks. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial documents, processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing support in financial reporting. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in working with numerical data, strong time management skills, proficiency in invoicing and accounting software, a good understanding of basic financial principles, and great communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the finance field and contribute to the success of our organization.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare and distribute fee invoices and receipts to clients
- Prepare, execute and record client financial transactions
- Verify and report child care fee subsidy data
- Receive and record payable invoices
- Receive, verify and prepare payroll data
- Receive, verify and prepare reimbursements and benefit claims
- Prepare Records of Employment and T4s
- Collect and organize financial data for reporting purposes
- Maintain organization of financial files and records
- Work together with Director of Enrollment, Director of Operations, Resource Coordinator and others on the team to efficiently communicate information that impacts finances.

- Working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting software an asset
