At Mediaplanet, we publish 25-30 niche digital and print campaigns across various verticals — every quarter. The campaigns are brought to life through storytelling, and we’re looking for a Web Editor to join our Production Team

**Responsibilities**:

- Convert all campaigns prepped for print (InDesign) to digital medium while ensuring content abides by SEO, readability, and accessibility best practices.
- Create web graphics.
- Create and upkeep of a digital production calendar.
- Create, schedule, and maintain of our e-newsletters.
- Lead Digital Production Meetings with Sales teams
- Work with Mediaplanet’s IT Department on continued improvement of our sites.
- Training of the sales team on digital matters, when needed.
- Continued input on development and innovation of our digital product.

General Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with an understanding of the special requirements of writing for the web, such as the use of keywords, hyperlinks, navigation, and the importance of brevity.
- Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed, and able to work under pressure and tight timelines.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (sales team, management team).
- Strong attention to detail. The Web Editor must be able to tell when something is missing or off, and then figure out how to fix it.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Quebecois French is an asset.

Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Experienced with CMS systems, WordPress in particular
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SEO
- Working knowledge of web readability & accessibility best practices
- Experience with e-newsletter marketing, Mailchimp in particular
- Resizing and optimizing images for web with Adobe Photoshop (intermediate) and Adobe Illustrator (basic)
- Intermediate experience with Google Drive
